The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), an umbrella body of all of Canada’s provincial securities regulators, is set to launch a Regulatory Sandbox. The Regulatory Sandbox will impose few regulatory restrictions to allow fintechs to grow without overwhelming regulatory burdens. This initiative will help streamline fintechs using new technologies such as: blockchain and artificial intelligence in an effort allow them to grow and expand nationally.

Pat Chaukos - Chief of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has stated that this program will definitely help Fintech businesses get to the market quicker.
